Anyone interested in forming a bingo group should come to a planning session on March 11. We will try to determine a day and time for bingo to be played. If you are unable to attend the meeting please drop a note by the office about what your wishes are in forming a bingo group.
 Have you noticed our new water fountain in the small pond? It is doing a wonderful job of aerating the pond.
Next month’s sign-up sheet will take on a new color. It is important for you to use these sheets. They are beneficial in planning programs and ordering needed items for specific events.

The swimming pool will open on April 13.
We are working on the Bocce Ball Court and it should be ready shortly. It’s time for spring games.

The geese are back and we would like all homeowners to encourage the geese to take up residence in another location.
Water pistols or garden hoses are a harmless way to annoy the geese.
If you have any other safe ideas please let us know.

The next Town Meeting of the Heritage Pines Homeowners Association will be held in the clubhouse on Tuesday, March 19 at 6:00 pm, Tom Desimpel, will be presiding. This meeting is open to all homeowners.
Fertilization for Heritage Pines has only been budgeted for the common areas. It is up to the individual homeowner to take care of his/her own program.
Hunt Landscaping has a flyer with the prices for this service in the lobby. There is a sign up sheet for anyone interested in acquiring this service.
 Every household should have received two Pool Passes last year. If you are a homeowner who did not receive two passes please stop by the office for your second pass. They are ready for you to pick up immediately.

The Town of Cary has several ordinances on
animals. Chapter 4 Animals and Fowl, Article 1, Section 4-9 says It shall
be unlawful for any owner, possessor, or harborer of any animal to allow such
animal(s) under his or her control, whether at large or under restraint, to defecate on the property of another or upon any public property or public right-of-way.
Be a good neighbor and please clean up after your pet.
One of our future homeowners has a tip to share with everyone. Terry Kagan recommends Gel-Gloss cleaner & polish for your sinks, basins, counter tops, and tubs. She has used it in her home in Florida for years. This product can be purchased at local home centers.

Lunch
The best soup and salad bar in town is at the Ladies Lunch. Everyone signs the clip board as to what she is bringing. What a selection it is! It is held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month. February 20 is this month’s date. The time has changed to 12:30 pm.

The Cary police and fire station number 5 on High House have
been invited to attend breakfast this month.
We are fortunate to have several retried policemen and firemen
living here. They know first hand what it means to serve the community and we are happy to share a meal.

Range of Motion Laury Holly, personal trainer & physical therapist, teaches this beneficial class. Come join the fun and receive benefits from this group. It meets on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 9:00 am. There is a fee for this class. |

The bus will be going out in
March in search of more decorated wolves.
There are one hundred wolves for us to find and we will be keeping a score
card.

 74th Academy Awards
will be held on March 24. We will have a party to cheer on your favorite stars. We will also have our own contest to see which homeowner can pick the most winners.
 Dinner for two will be the prize. It’s time to do your research to make your educated choices for the Oscars.

 Fire safety is important to all of us.
Kathy Ellis, public fire educator from the Town of Cary will be here in March. She will give us lessons on how to properly use a fire extinguisher. There will also be time for questions and answers.
Scheduled date March 13.
We have many fire extinguishers around the clubhouse and it is important we know how to work with them in an emergency.
