Clubhouse Birthday Party
The clubhouse is three this year. We will have our annual birthday celebration on Sunday, January 25th. Beverages and Desserts will be provided. Come visit with your neighbors and enjoy the classical and pop music performed by Opus 5. The
deadline for signing-up is Noon, January 16th

Brunch at Tandoor Indian Restaurant

We will be going for brunch at Tandoor Indian Restaurant on January 11th. Denny & Guni Kachalia will be our personal guides to Indian Food. If the bus is filled, we can carpool.

White Elephant Gift Exchange

At the Ladies Lunch on January 20, we will have our annual gift exchange. Bring that “Not quite me” gift from the holidays to exchange. We will have lots of fun opening and gifts and then taking favorites away from those who opened them earlier. This has
always been a nice post-holiday event here. Please note that we are bringing our own brown bag lunches rather than the usual shared soup and salad lunch. Dessert and drinks will be provided. Don’t forget to sign up by Noon, January 19th.

Ric Richards son of homeowner, Evelyn Richards, generously donated the Bug’s Life Clip Tock’s and McDonald’s Kid’s Meal Coupons for the children who came for Breakfast with Santa. Thank you, Ric.

Wanted: Volunteers

Volunteers are needed for the 2004 Heritage Pines Events Planning Committee. The current committee has done a great job of planning
activities for 2003 culminating the year with three large parties in December. Additional homeowners are needed to assist with 2004 planning. If you are willing to help please come to the first planning session scheduled for 9:30 am on January 13th. If you are unable to make the meeting, let the office know of your interest in helping.

Heritage Pines Bowlers:

On December 9th, Art Sheaffer, bowling at Buffaloe Lanes, had a high scratch game of 246, and a high handicap series of 756. In addition Gloria Slugg has a high women’s average of 150.5 as of the same date.

Strength Training class moves to exercise room

Beginning January 6, 2004, the Strength Training Class will meet in the Exercise Room on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:15 am to 9:15 am. The room will be closed to anyone not enrolled in the class during the class hour. Thank you for scheduling your workout at another time.

PACE (people with arthritis can exercise) Winter Class Schedule

The winter session of Pace will begin January 5th at 7 pm. The program will run from January 5th through February 26 and will meet at the Heritage Pines Clubhouse on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7 - 8 pm. Shelley Carraway will be the instructor.
