Ladies Tea Party

Shoes are the theme for the tea party on February, 13. Bring or wear you favorite, funky or fabulously fun shoes to “show-off” at the party. Betty Ecklund is the hostess for this event.

Valentine’s Day Breakfast

The men of Heritage Pines will be preparing breakfast for the community on Valentine’s Day, Saturday, February 14th. Sign up early to pick between 8:00 & 9:30 am for choice seats. This will be buffet style and we need volunteers to help. The menu will be pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, fresh fruit, coffee, tea and orange juice.

Medicare Forum

Tuesday, February 24 at 6:30 pm Heritage Pines resident, Mort Berkowitz, formerly Director of Beneficiary Services , Health Care Financing Administration with the US department of Health and Human Services for 35 years and a consultant with Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield for 2 years, will discuss health insurance , Medicare, Medicaid, and current issues. He will have a question and answer time also.

 Girls Night Out

The theme for our first Heritage Pines Girls Night Out scheduled for Thursday, February 26 at 6:30 pm is “Getting to Know You”. The cost is $5.00 and includes heavy hors d’oeuvres, coffee, tea, and soft drinks, BYOB for beverages not listed. Shirley Rieck, Betsy Roman, Priscilla Ruskay are helping chairman, Linda Dzuba execute this eventful night.
 

Table Tennis

When the temperature falls below 35 degrees the outdoor tennis group has decided to play table tennis in the clubhouse. If you are interested in joining the fun, watch the temperature.

Volunteers Needed:

The Performing Arts Committee will meet on Tuesday, February 10. The group needs more ideas as to what you would like to attend. Come share you thoughts.

Water Aerobics:

Laury Holly is teaching water aerobics at the Morrisville Community Center on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s from 10 to 11 am. The cost is $42.00 per month. For more information call the Center at 469-9760.

The Events Planning Committee:

 The committee will meet Tuesday, February 24 and can use your help. If you have ideas about events you would like to see at the clubhouse, if you would like to host an event or if you would just like to help with an event you are invited to attend. If you cannot attend let someone on the committee or at the office know how you would like to help.

The new sign up pages will be available at the clubhouse on Thursday, January 22
at 10:30 am.
