Hot Off  The Press

 Ice Cream Social

On Sunday evening August 7th at 6:00 pm an Ice Cream Social hosted by The Thimble Club will be held at the clubhouse. Goodberrys will be providing the ice cream and the cost is $3.00 per person. The deadline for reservations is noon on 8/1 for the first 80 to sign up. If you have any questions, contact Myrna Worsley.

Planting & Growing in the Zone

On Thursday, August 18th at 2:00 pm Chris Hunt of Hunt’s Landscaping & Maintenance will be at the clubhouse to meet with HP homeowners to discuss lawn care at Heritage Pines. Hunt’s is our contracted landscaper.

This is your opportunity to ask questions about your lawns and plants and to learn what to expect during the different seasons of the year. This will be a good chance for all the “transplanted” residents to learn about growing things in this climate zone.

Tropical Island Party

On Saturday, August 27, 2005, be ready to enjoy an “Island Adventure” when you attend the dinner and party at the clubhouse. The festivities will start at 6:00 pm and dinner will be served at 6:45pm.

The cost is $17.50 per person and will be limited to 80 residents so sign up as soon as possible. The deadline for
reservations is noon August 8. The menu will include chicken, ribs, pineapple, hearts of palm salad, and coconut custard & key lime pies. Contact Judy Smith if you have any
questions.
