Flu Shot Time
Maxim Healthcare will once again
be here to administer flu vaccine to the residents of HP. For those
eligible, pneumonia shots will be available too. The date is October 24th
from 12 noon to 5:00pm. For those covered by Medicare part B, please bring
your Medicare ID cards with you. For those not covered, the cost is $25.00
for the flu shots and $35.00 for pneumonia shots. Sign up sheets will be in
the lobby beginning Monday, October 3rd and the deadline is noon, Monday,
October 17th. Only those who register will be eligible to receive the
vaccine.
Bus Book
The new sign up pages will be available at the clubhouse on
Wednesday, September 28th at 10:00 am.Sign-Up
Sheets
You may turn in your sign-up sheets as
soon as you receive them. If the office is closed just slide them under
the door. You can add your bus trips to your sign-up sheet on bus sign. |

Annual Golf Scramble
The third annual HP golf scramble will be held on Thursday, October 27 at
Crooked Tree Golf Club. Teams will compete for prizes on a “scramble”
system. The cost at the club is $25.00 which includes a cart & a free
fountain drink. Signup on the clipboard in the lobby & on your Oct. signup
sheet. There is a $2.00 fee to HP for prizes. The HP bus will accommodate
the first 12 who register at another $2.00 fee. The other players can
carpool. The deadline for registering is Wednesday, Oct 5. For more

Halloween Madness
Then annual Halloween party will
be taking place on Saturday, October 29 at 7:00 pm in the clubhouse.
Costumes are suggested but not required.
However there will be prizes
awarded both for costumes and door prizes. The charge is $4.00 per person to
cover snacks and prizes. Reservations are limited to the first 80 that sign
up so do it today! If there is a large waiting list and someone would like
to host a second party on Friday the 28th, Mary & Bob Hodes, the chairs,
will be happy to decorate a day earlier and assist the new chair anyway they
can.
There will be a contest to guess
the number of candies in the jar which will be on display in the lobby. The
winner will be announced at the Saturday party and you do not have to be
present to win. Come & enjoy the black cats, ghosts & goblins!.
