Needle People

The Heritage Pines Needle Group is currently knitting sweaters for
Guideposts’ Knit for Kids - handmade sweaters from the heart.
This program distributes the hand made sweaters to needy children
began in 1996 and more than 300,000 sweaters have been given out. About
4,000 arrive each month to the Guideposts office in Carmel, NY. The Needle
Club has the sweater patterns for knitting and crocheting. If you are
interested in helping out just contact one of the members or come by the
clubhouse on Wednesdays at 1:30 pm to pick one up or see the ladies working
on their fiber art projects. They meet weekly at the clubhouse.
