BREAKFAST WITH SANTA
UPDATE
On Saturday, December 2nd ,the clubhouse library will be closed from 8:00
am-2:00 pm due to the visit from Santa. The committee asks anyone attending
breakfast with a child who requires a highchair or booster seat, to please
bring it with them.
FOOD BANK DONATIONS FOR DECEMBER
Because the food bank is always in need, we are asking you to bring food -
canned or non-perishable - no glass - or if you prefer, a check made out to
the Food Bank of
Central and Eastern North Carolina, obviously any amount would help.
If you are unable to come to the
luncheon and would like to donate anyway, bring your donation to the club
house anytime before the
luncheon. Encourage our new residents to attend.

LADIES LUNCHEON
The December Ladies' Luncheon will be held on Tuesday, December 12th at
12:30 PM. The deadline is Monday, December 4th at 12 noon with a limit of
80. There will be a $1.00 charge and the food will be potluck of your
choice.
CHRISTMAS CAROLING
On Sunday, December 17th at 3 pm in the Clubhouse the Green Hope Community
of St. Michael’s Church will have members of their adult and children’s
choirs sing Christmas songs and carols. Refreshments will be served
afterwards. Please come and join them in celebrating the holiday season.
Reservations by December 11th.
AN EVENING IN TUSCANY
On Sunday, December 31st, join your neighbors for an elegant Evening in
Tuscany to welcome in the New Year. Anticipate a lovely celebration saying
farewell to 2006 and greeting 2007 with a variety of hot and cold appetizers
and
delicious desserts reminiscent of the hills of a wine country. Jane Suppa,
the committee chair, asks everyone to BYOB, a noisemaker if so inclined, and
a desire for enjoyment with old friends and the opportunity to meet new
ones. The cost for the evening is $18.50 with the festivities beginning at
8:30 pm. Also bring your appetites so you can enjoy steamed shrimp,
mushrooms, artichokes, gourmet cheeses, pastries from Capri’s and many other
delicacies. Music will be provided by DJ, Robert Graves. Please sign up by
noon, December 4th. Seating is limited. |
