Water Aerobics

Laury Holley and Angela Ham are back to lead our water exercise classes this month. Sign up early as space is limited.

Art Class

The Artist Group of Heritage Pines is offering a four week course in color, color wheel and composition starting Friday, May 4 through May 25. This will be held in the clubhouse craft room from 9:00 am until 12:00 noon. A fee of $5.00 will be charged and supplies will be furnished. The class will be limited to 16 people and the deadline to sign up will be April 30th. Each student will produce a finished painting by the end of the course. For more information, call Joan Ward or Eileen Fitzgerald.

Memorial Day Program & Picnic on the Grounds

The annual Memorial Day activities will be held at the clubhouse on Monday, May 28, 2007.
The memorial program will begin at 11:30 am and you can pick up your box lunch beginning at 12:15 pm.

Ladies Breakfast

The Heritage Pines Gentlemen will be cooking and serving breakfast to the Heritage Pines Ladies on June 2nd at 9:00 & 10:30 am. They will be serving pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, fresh fruit, juice, tea & coffee. Come enjoy their special treat. Cost $3.00. Reservations by May 21st..

Ladies Luncheon featuring an Antique Show

Heritage Pines’ ladies are in for a special treat. Our guests will be Ms. Katherine Mitchell and Mr. James Britt of Raleigh. Ms. Mitchell, an antique dealer, is also a certified antique appraiser, the owner of the “Raleigh Auction Estate Sales” and co-owner of “Hunt & Gather”.

Mr. Britt, an antique dealer for twenty years, previously owned his own business and is currently manager for “Hunt & Gather”, a gallery of fine estate furnishings in Raleigh.

Each lady at the luncheon is invited to bring one treasure at least fifty years old to be displayed.

Ms. Mitchell and Mr. Britt have
graciously consented to share their expertise with us by commenting on our own antiques and
collectibles.

The luncheon will be on Tuesday, May 15, at 12:30 pm. The cost is $9.50 per person and the deadline for registering is noon, Monday 4/30. Lunch will include assorted sandwich trays including slice
turkey, ham, roast beef and chicken salad. Fruit trays and vegetable platters with dip are also included. Dessert will be assorted cookies. This is being catered by Life Experiences.

Please indicate if you are bringing an antique on your sign up sheet.
