Heritage Happenings 
Hot Off  The Press

HPCA will host a community brunch on Sunday, September 16 at the clubhouse. Please sign up for one of the two seatings - 10:00 am or 12:15 pm. Each seating is limited to 125 people.

The menu will include scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries, biscuits, Danish, fresh fruit, juice, coffee and tea. The cost is $7.00 per person and the meal will be catered by Courtney’s. The deadline for registering is noon Monday, September 3.

Ladies Luncheon

The September luncheon will be held at the clubhouse starting at 12:30 pm on Tuesday, September 18. The box lunch will be catered by the Village Deli and the cost is $8.00 per person. Please sign up on the separate sheet included in the newsletter and indicate your choice of sandwich. The deadline for signing up is noon, Monday, September 3.

The guest speakers will be Sue Millot & Becky Woodhouse from the Wake County Western Regional Library . Their presentation will include
information about the book clubs and other programs available for children & adults. Hostesses are Mary Schroeher & Jean Tiedemann.

Schedule Quickly!!! A beautiful
ethnic observance will be held on Saturday, September 29. Doors will open at 5:45 pm and the first table call for dinner will be between 6:15 & 6:30.Come & enjoy authentic Central European food prepared by those who have many years experience preparing holupki, pierogi, sausage, kraut, etc. and served in an old country environment.

The live music provided by the Polka Plus Band will focus on polkas and other happy music. The price is only $15.00 per person, seating is limited to 80 and the deadline to sign up is noon, Monday, September 3.

The committee chairs are Barbara & Dave Harcharic.

Columbus Day Celebration

Come and celebrate Columbus Day with a wonderful Italian dinner on Saturday, October 6 at the clubhouse. The dinner, catered by Roma’s Italian Restaurant, will
include Italian baked chicken breast, lasagna, sausage & peppers, Italian & garlic breads, salad and cannolis & cookies for dessert. Music will be provided by DJ Tino.

The cost is $15.00 per person and seating is limited to 80 people. The doors will open at 6:00 pm and
dinner will be served at 6:30 pm followed by music & entertainment. Pat Schneider is the chair & the registration deadline is noon,
Monday, September 17.

At the Clubhouse

So long to a familiar site. The Sales Office will close on August 31, 2007.     Your first stop in our community will soon become home to another homeowner. Shortly we will be out of transition.   Joan Edlind (second from the left) is shown here with her Mother, daughter, granddaughter and great grandson. They were all able to get together this summer to celebrate the 5th generation. Thank you, Joan; for sharing you happy occasion with all of us.
