Flu Shots
The annual flu shots will be given on Wednesday,
October 10, 2007, from 9 - 3 at the HP clubhouse. Maxim Healthcare Services
will once again administer the vaccine. The signup sheets will be in the
lobby of the clubhouse until noon Monday, October 1. Please register soon
and don’t forget to bring your Medicare card with you on the 10th. For those
not covered by Medicare, the charge is $30.00 for the flu shot & $40.00 for
the pneumonia shot.
Ladies Luncheon
The October luncheon will be held at the
clubhouse at 12:30 pm on Tuesday, October 16, 2007. The lunch is being
catered by Sweet
Tomatoes- see the calendar for the menu. The cost is 9.00 per person and the
deadline for signing up is noon, Monday, October 1. The guest speaker will
be Andy Lipson, son of HP residents Doug & Barbara Lipson. He is a Financial
Advisor and will talk about “Retirement Income Investment Strategies.” Chair
for the luncheon is Barbara Lipson.

Golf Scramble
The fifth annual HP golf scramble will be held
at Crooked Creek Country Club on Tuesday, October 23, 2007. Teams of 4 will
be
selected by combining players of different skill levels & while each player
will play every shot, only one shot will be selected by the team captain.
Both men & women are invited and the sign up sheets will be in the lobby.
Tee off time is 9:00 am. A $3.00 charge for prizes is due when you hand in
your HP sign up sheet. Come and join the fun! Contact Walt Ramsey with any

Oktoberfest
Come join your neighbors on
Friday night, October 26 for our annual Oktoberfest. You will be
entertained from 7-9:30 PM by the famous fully costumed “Little
German Band and Dancers”. They have performed around the United States as
well as Oktoberfest in Munich and Bavaria. Happy hour begins at 5:00 PM,
BYOB and munchies. Dinner will be served at 6:00 PM. Your menu can be found
in the calendar. Please signup early as seating will be limited. Signup
deadline is noon Monday, October, 1st .Price is $19.00 per person. Any

Sign Up Sheets
In an effort to be fair to all, we are trying a new system for receiving
your sign up sheets.
Beginning 10 am, Tuesday, September 25, 2007 you may turn in your sign up
sheet to the clubhouse office. None will be accepted before that time. These
sheets will only be accepted during office hours. Any sheets shoved under
the door will not be accepted.
If you are unable to deliver your sign up sheet to the office, you may ask a
neighbor or friend to take your sheet. Thank you for your patience as we try
to work on making event sign up pleasurable for everyone.
