Annual Meeting of the Heritage Pines Community Association

The annual meeting of HPCA will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2008 at 6:30 pm in the auditorium of Green Hope High School.

1st Saturday Night at the Clubhouse - ”Groundhog” Pot Luck Dinner

The second monthly pot luck supper will be held in the clubhouse on Saturday, February 2 at 5:30 pm.

The theme is “Groundhog Day”. Northerners remember despair of winter through the end of January - and then waiting for Punxsutawney Phil to give hope you would not see April snow on your crocus. Well, a groundhog is also called a “Woodchuck” so when you call Barb Harcharic or Pat Schneider to coordinate food, identify your dishes as: “Woodchuck Vegetables”, Ground “Chuck” & Noodles, “Chuck wagon” Pork & Beans, Mac & “Chucky Cheese” , “Groundhog” Pork., etc. Desserts will be provided.

The deadline for signing up is noon, Tuesday,  January 22 & there is a $2.00 charge. Come join the fun and games with prizes!


 

Ladies Luncheon
The February ladies’ luncheon will be held on Tuesday, February 19 at 12:30 pm in the clubhouse. It will be a pot luck meal & the hosts are Betty Ecklund & Fran Livoti. The deadline to register is noon Monday, 2/4 & there is a $1.00 fee.

St. Patrick’s Day Party

On March 15, 2008, the St. Patrick’s Day Party will be held in the clubhouse starting at 5:30 pm. The traditional dinner of corned beef, cabbage, potatoes, carrots, Irish soda bread & dessert will be catered by the Hibernian Restaurant. The cost is $17.00 per person & the deadline to register is noon, Monday 2/25. Selection will be by lottery & the drawing will be at 2:00 pm the same day. Please make out a separate check for this event. Don’t forget to think “green.”

March 1st Saturday at the Clubhouse Pot Luck

The March Pot Luck will be held on March 1 at 5:30 pm in the clubhouse.

Sign Up Sheets You may turn in your signup sheet beginning 10 am, Monday, January 21, during office hours. None will be accepted before that time. Any sheets shoved under the door will not be accepted. If you are unable to deliver your sign up sheet to the office, you may ask a neighbor or friend to take your sheet. Each resident is limited to one (1) extra sheet. Thank you for your patience as we try to work on making event sign up pleasurable for everyone.
A separate check is required for the “lottery events”.
