SAS Show Group

“VocalMotions”, the all-volunteer show choir & band sponsored by SAS, will perform in the clubhouse on Monday, May 5, 2008, at 7:00 pm. The cost is $1.00 and the deadline to sign up is noon, Monday, April 28, 2008. The lottery system will be used for this event so a separate check is needed. This talented group has performed here in past years to enthusiastic HP audiences. Because of our increased resident population, a theater seating arrangement will be used and no refreshments will be served.

Meet the Candidates
Open House

On Wednesday, May 21, at 7:00 - 8:30 pm, we will hold an open house for you to talk with and ask questions of the candidates, one on one. The flyer announcing the candidates that are running for election to the board will be available in the clubhouse on
May 7.

Ladies’ Luncheon

The May Ladies’ Lunch will be held at 12:30 pm on Tuesday, May 20, 2008, at the clubhouse. The theme for the day is “HATS”. We will be looking for prettiness, silliness , most original, most shocking, most elegant, etc. Hats are optional but there will be prizes awarded. The cost is $3.00 per person and Saundra Robertson & her
committee are asking you to bring a Potluck Salad too. Baked
potatoes with all the fixings and dessert will be provided. The deadline is noon, Monday, May 5. See you there.

Memorial Day Celebration

The annual Memorial Day
remembrance program will be held at 11:30 am on Monday, May 26 in the clubhouse.-rain or shine.
Veterans are asked to bring a
service picture to be placed on the center table in the clubhouse foyer.
Box lunches prepared by Village Deli will be available starting at 12:15 pm. Please indicate your sandwich choice on the separate sheet found in the newsletter and return it with your sign up sheet to the clubhouse office. A pickle spear, fruit cup and cookie will be served with your sandwiches.
Bottled water and soda will be available for everyone. Please bring a blanket or chair so you can picnic on the grounds. with your neighbors. In the event of inclement weather, you may pick up your food and beverage and picnic at home. Come and enjoy the day. You must sign up and make your food choice by noon.

Sign-up Sheets You may turn in your sign-up sheet beginning at 10 am, Tuesday, April 22 during
office hours. None will be accepted before that time. If you are unable to deliver your sign-up sheet to the office, you may ask a neighbor or friend to take your sheet. Each resident is limited to one (1) extra sheet. Thank you for your patience as we try to work on making event signup pleasurable for everyone. Please note a separate check is required for the “lottery” events.
